Dear Friends,

Here we are at the beginning of 2010. I appreciate this annual opportunity to reflect on the year gone by and set intentions for the year to come. As I look back on this past year, I find that trust in the process of life is emerging as the theme. In 2009, I found myself surrendering more to situations and trying to control outcomes less, and as a result, I am discovering a deeper sense of contentment and peace. As you enter this new year, I invite you to reflect on the theme or themes that arose for you in 2009 and to set intentions for 2010. What does your heart desire in this new year?

Wishing you happiness and abundance,
Kendra

To help us to apply these three principles to ourselves and our lives, we can ask three questions. Read more. . .

12 Tips for Mindful Resolutions, Healthier Relationships, and a Rewired Brain
By Marsha Lucas, Ph.D.

Mindfulness Meditation
EXCERPT: From my perspective, having a full, authentic life is about having healthy, vibrant relationships -- your relationship with yourself, with others you know, with the world at large, and/or with something greater, if that suits you. Without relationships, there can't be much else. So how do you make changes in how you do your relationships? What behavioral psychologists know is that making changes -- and keeping resolutions -- needs to be broken down into small, achievable, and measurable steps. Read more. . .
